Danica is a Toronto-based pianist, composer, accompanist, and educator. She started playing piano at age six and began competing in music festivals shortly after. She completed her RCM Grade 8 Piano Certificate with First Class Honors at thirteen and continued her studies abroad at the Music Conservatory in Bratislava. Danica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Composition from Western University in London Ontario, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Collaborative Performance. During her university studies, Danica was awarded The University of Western Ontario Gold Medal and is named on the Dean’s Honor List.

Danica has been teaching solo piano, collaborative piano, and music theory for the last four years. She strives to provide a solid foundation for learning while actively introducing various musical styles to encourage students to discover and develop their own taste in music. Whether it may be classical music, film scores, pop songs etc., Danica loves sharing her lifelong appreciation for music and believes teaching and instilling curiosity in her students is an exceptional way to do that.
