Originally from Victoria BC, Emmett grew up playing piano, beginning at age 8 with classical and later transitioning into learning other genres of music including folk, jazz and R&B. In addition to his many years at the piano, Emmett has experience as a choral singer and a player of upright bass. A bandleader and enthusiastic performer, he is constantly exploring many different genres and enjoys delving into all kinds of music with his students.
