Catherine Kim, a dedicated and accomplished pianist, began her musical journey in Seoul before studying at the California Institute of the Arts, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Performance. She has pursued advanced studies in Piano Performance at the University of Southern California for her Master of Music degree.
She has been a featured performer at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and Roy O. Disney Hall. and her competitive achievements underscore her musical excellence, with awards including the American Protégé International Piano Competition and Sigma Alpha Iota Scholarship Competition. She was also a recipient of the prestigious Harpo Marx Fellowship.
She also enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge for the instrument. Catherine’s commitment to teaching and performance, combined with her impressive accolades, make her an inspiring piano instructor dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering a love for music.
