Miles Lee is a Toronto-based music coach who graduated with a Masters Degree in Music and a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Universities in Hong Kong. Born into a family who sells pianos, Miles started his musical education during his early childhood. He joined school bands, choirs, orchestras and pop bands with the knowledge and skills of playing violin, piano, set drums, guitar, bass and voice.
Miles has years of experience teaching both violin and piano, working with students through their childhood musical development. His goal is to pique student’s interest in music which is the core of his lesson plans. He believes that music development is a life-long progress and that the growth is directly proportional to the learner’s interest. Therefore, Miles has much flexibility in his lesson content, staying with the intrigued area while giving a slight push to his students to be a better musician themselves. Miles also has a specialty of score writing and applies his skills in lessons so that students can learn whatever song they love in his class, even without music score resources that match the student’s level.
