Early Childhood Education Classes

Early childhood music classes enhance brain development in babies and young children. They support the acquisition of language, memory, and emotional regulation. Rhythmic patterns and melodies support recognition of sounds and words, laying the groundwork for stronger communication skills. Music also supports motor skill development through activities such as dancing, clapping, and playing simple instruments. Furthermore, music strengthens emotional bonding between children and caregivers, fostering joy and a sense of security.

If you’re still wondering whether early childhood music education is worthwhile or just a fun extracurricular activity, read our blog on this topic, where we explore this in detail.

Early Childhood Music Classes make the perfect gift for parents with babies and toddlers. You can gift any amount, and the card never expires!

PARENT AND 6 – 12 MONTH OLD

Full of finger playing, tickles, bounces, tilts, and upside-downs. Our Littlest Beats prepare their whole bodies to feel the basic beat with their caregiver. To internalize the music, we practice and repeat new skills, using a variety of age-appropriate musical instruments. A parent/caregiver is required to attend the classes.

PARENT AND 1-YEAR-OLD KIDS

Does your child like to sway? A fast lift in the air? Suspense… then a tickle? All sorts of melodies and rhymes invite both caregiver and child to explore what they enjoy! We start to move to music in different ways and invite a steady beat with our bodies and musical instruments. A parent/caregiver is required to attend the classes.

PARENT AND 2-YEAR-OLD KIDS

Our Little Beats now roll back, drop down to the ground, turn around… and still get a few tickles! Hand-eye coordination is practiced with finger plays and more musical instruments. We continue to feel a steady beat and are invited to vocalize, especially by making sound effects. A parent/caregiver is required to attend the classes.

PARENT AND 3-YEAR-OLD KIDS

Little Beats still love to feel the physical connection with their caregiver! We have more melodies and stories, and now use the children’s ideas to end songs. Little Beats practice echoing rhythms, play chasing games, and are encouraged to vocalize and sing within a group. A parent/caregiver is required to attend the classes.

4-YEAR-OLD KIDS

Our Little Beats attend class independently and grow together as a group. Through incorporating song suggestions and student interests into structured music, we offer opportunities for improvisation and musical exploration. We clap and tap the rhythms of the words, becoming more discerning about timbre. We move to music in many different ways, learn actions to go with our music, tell musical stories, and practice singing independently. This class is drop off – parents/caregivers are not required to attend.
